15. Digg

Ok I tried the Digg thing, but absolutely do no understand why people use this. Are they really bored for something to do? I am sure there is some great articles on this site, however I did not find anything to interest me.

14. Delicious

I have done this before. I have an account, but do not use it. I don't know if it is a time element or I just need to experience this more, but I feel sort of blah toward Delicious.

13. Tagging

I have to say I have only done tagging as a fun thing using Flickr and working with photos. I have not had time to check out other sites. I am not sure how this would play into library usage, I am not ready for that yet. However and I am sure I will find more ways to use tagging. Very fun, I just need more time to learn!!!

12. Twitter

I enjoyed Twitter, but found it lacking compared to Facebook. Maybe it is just because it is new to me. I shall play with it more as time allows.

11. Instant Messaging

I have done instant messaging and it is very addicting. I don't use it often because I don't have the time, but it is great when you really need a long chat with a friend and are not able to visit them in person. It is so much more personal than emailing.

9. More Facebook

I had loads of fun searching for family and friends on facebook. I found several people I had lost contact with. This was cool.

Thing 10: Ning

I was really impressed with the Ning site. This looks really fun. However, I am not setting up an account at this time, due to lack of time to spend on it. I know I would enjoy it greatly and currently time will just not allow me any extra activities in my life. When you have a small library to operate and you are understaffed, these things seem trivial. Yes it is an excellent tool for networking and I hope one day I have more time to spend on this. I did search several subjects areas including genealogy and family. This is an excellent site!
